Resilient Innovation

Creating solutions for AI and robots with rapid prototypes and use cases

Project 1: Your pet assistant before your need assistance

This project created an AI pet assistant prototype for maintaining pet health, diet and quality of life. The app also serves as an R&D platform for service dog training and lifecycle management, to improve longevity.

Carbonado AI’s Sentinel is a personal assistant robot concept for the home. Nel is a companion, a butler, and guardian. The concept anticipates the massive demographic shift towards an aging population. It seeks to provide an Aging In Place (AIP) solution. The name Carbonado means black diamond, for strength and resilience.

Project 2: Your AI Sentinel (Nel) Assistant

Project 3: Your Agent Naomi

Naomi is a concept for supporting mental health across digital platforms. As we immerse ourselves more deeply into digital platforms and across devices and environments like the metaverse, we need guardrails and verified orientation. This is particularly true for the youth and developing identities. Fake and misleading information or representation is a risk. Naomi is a digital guardian angel to support, guide and maintain watch across the digital landscape.

Project 4: Mini Nel Aging in Place Platform

Mini Nel is a simplified version of the Sentinel platform. It was developed explicitly as an Aging in Place layered service for caregivers and seniors. It enables cost-effective, decentralized and secure management of seniors in the comfort of their own home. The target customer is typically the sandwich generation Gen X or Millennial, who has limited time to manage career and family and needs simple peace of mind that loved ones are in safe and smart hands.

Project 5: Moral Machines Index (MMX100)

The Moral Machines Index uses a comprehensive, data-driven approach to rank the world's top 100 most influential moral machines leaders. It integrates sociological and societal impact factors, such as social acuity and social salience, into the index weighting. The methodology combines quantitative metrics with qualitative assessments across seven carefully weighted criteria.
